How much will the NX-73 cost?

You may remember me from my broken NX-70 thread. I still haven't repaired it, because I don't have the funds yet.


Anyways, how much will it cost when it comes over the US? Some sites (http://www.bargainpda.com/default.asp?newsID=1388) say that it currently costs equivalenty $430 in Japan. But whenever they bring the models the US, the prices jump $150.

Anyone have any clue?


Also would it be possible that if I give my NX70 to Sony and instead of repairing it, they give me credit to go towards a NX73?

Uh, I'm not basing my guesses off of any information but I'm going to go with what the NX70 and 60 went for.

599.99 USD for the NX80

499.99 USD for the NX73

Once again, I have no clue what they will go for, but that's what I'm guessing. Flame away, I feel like these are too high (everyone else has gone at least 100 below me)

I would have to agree with Homie on this one, especially if Bluetooth is added.

At $399, I could do the CompUSA trade in deal with my NX60.....I would buy it, for the convenience of the hard buttons below the scree....as long as it is about as thin as the thinner area on my unit....it would be worth it. Just my opinion.

while on the topic... do you think the NX80 will reach the asian markets before USA? i.e. taiwan :p coz thats where i'm lookign to get mine...

I'm sure you'll be able to find one in Taiwan days after it comes out in japan, it'll just take some searching... new clies are pretty high end, with low demand here in taiwan, so if you wanna get one here right after it comes out in japan, its going to be pretty hard...

The japanese version will become more progressively avaliable in Taiwan, but I doubt you'd ever see an english version...

$499 is the actual price of nx70v right now, so I think they may lower the price of nx70v or put the price of nx73v even higher

NX70V is $499 because it is EOL'ed, i.e. no longer in production. They're more likely to stick with the $599/499 lineup, but then again, they replaced the color SJ30 and mono SJ20 with the color SJ22, at the SJ20s lower price point.
