I need help. How can I export pictures from my PC to my Clie NX70? The lack of instructions from Sony manuals make this a very difficult task.

You'll need to install the Image Converter software to your desktop. This software is located on your clie cd. This will allow you to take images from you computer to your NX. I personally use SplashPhoto for my images on my NX70V.
You need a Memorystick for that!
You need to install the drivers for Clie Import. When you start import on the NX it will show up in the explorer on the PC. Then switch to the folder DCIM/101MSDCF
Place there your pics.

Right, a memory stick is required. Install MS Export on the desktop PC, if it's not installed. I never use it, but it's necessary for the drivers. Then use MS Import on the Clie in concert with the desktop file manager or Image Converter. When you select MS Import on the Clie, it should show up in Windows Explorer as an external disk drive. It's fairly simple once you get the hang of it.
Have fun :)!
