Deleting files from Clie files

When I sometimes try to delete a file via Clie files, it says that the file cannot be deleted because it's a read only file. I then have to do it through MS Import. Guess most people here know why but could you please help enlighten me m(_ _)m.

That's right it won't let you unless you change the file's attribute first with something like FileZ available for free at PalmGear. The desktop will prompt you first, but then it will delete it. Some files can also be locked by the Palm OS so as not to crash your Clie.

A file can be read only, copy protected, in ROM, or locked by the operating system.
