PhotoSkin Install Problem

I can't seem to install photoskin. When I download the file and unzip it, everything appears fine. However, when I try to install the file I get a Message "Photoskin_OS5.prc does not exist"!!!

I've tried renaming the file without success. Does anyone have any ideas?

Also, can anyone help me remove a status bar skin without photo skin. I tried a warm reset, but can't seem to get to the point where I can delete files?

You can do a warm reset, which is done by holding the Up button while resetting. This won't load anything so there will be no VG area. Hit Ctrl-H on the keyboard, go to Clie Files, then you can delete the status bar. Then do a regular reset.

Are you extracting the file from the ZIP file, or are you trying to install from within thr ZIP file? That error is common when trying to install before extracting.

Thanks so much for your input. I didn't realize the Ctrl-H part of the warm reset was required. I have tried this with success.

I did extract the file from the zip file before trying to install. Whenever I had this problem before, renaming the file to a shorter name would fix it, however, this does not seem to be working this time. For some reason, photoskin is the only software I am having this problem with. I thought it might have been a corrupted download, but no dice. I downloaded again with the same result.

PhotoSkin just gave me a hard reboot when it changed the silkscreen... very upset here....
