My clie NX70v is showing " memorymgr.c, line:3675, invalid chunk ptr" every time I tried to synchronise to my desktop. I have tried various mode of reset, finally the hard reset. But the problem persisted everytime I tried to synchronise. Does anyone has the same problem? Anything that I can do to synchronise properly? I have deleted all files from my memory stick as well.

Why didn't you just remove the MS itself. If you did a restoral from the desktop PC, the backup is probably corrupted too. It's very easy to do and that's why I don't rely on it.

Can you HotSync without restoring any software first? Backup your backup folder that's on the desktop PC. If it's corrupted, then you'll most likely have to nuke it :(

Backup it up and the temporarily rename the backup folder under your HotSync name, then try a HotSync

i had already solved the problem by creating a new user profile in the palm desktop. One of the programme was corrupted. no problem with ms.
