As a challenge I've just started up a photoblog using just pictures taken with my NR70V (with it's whole .07 megapixel camera  ) and after looking around there doesn't seem to be any others.
Here's mine (http://www.marcandvic.com/marc/blog/photo.php) - anyone else doing this ?

The quality is better than I thought, it is much like the Zire's...

I have noticed that the quality on ALL PDA cameras is low no matter how many pixels they do. Basically I think it comes down to the crappy lenses they use. I've seen some from the Zire and the chromatic aberrations are just shocking.
My normal camera is a Canon D30 and I don't think that any PDA will be taking over from that just yet ;)

I don't think sony clie cameras will ever take over their huge digital camera market. Sony won't be that dumb...*sigh*

well.... the NR and NX series cams ... have much more limitations than the cameras for the NZ. The NZ offers more features similar to regular digi-cams to take better quality pictures. They have a light-source setting so it can color-adjust for .... spot-meter to either darken or lighten so it adjusts the apature. Auto-focus or not ..... and several other settings. I've gotten some very nice quality photos from my NZ...... Very very pleased with it. Sure the optics and whatnot aren't as good as a regular digi-cam ..... but also... lets look at the size of the NZ's camera... compared to a dedicated dig-cam....... I think for the size of a NR/NX/NZ camera .... they take GREAT pictures. If you want professional quality .... you will need the nice NIKON digicam... which is well over $1,000 USD.

Nice pictures. I'm impressed at the quality for a lo-rez camera.

For NX70V images from around London and the UK, go to:
http://www.sonystyle-imaging.com/eu_en/pc/viewalbumlist.jsp?category_id=172&page=0
Or go to:
http://www.sonystyle-imaging.com then gallery, then landscape, then 'My First Album', mine is first.

Here is my photo blog, using my NX70V. Please comment on the design of my webpage because I am really trying to improve it, thanks.

<b>kevinW</b>Thanks for the working link! Brings back memories - I lived in London until 3 months ago :) Yours don't seem to be as sharp as the ones by cloudless - maybe because they are often low light shots?
<b>cloudless</b>It seems that the upgrade to the NX70V pays dividends - are all those shots taken with your clie? One thing that I'd like to see with the design is a standard look and feel. Going from a dark index page to a white album is a bit disconcerting.
Thanks to both of you for showing that I'm not the only one ;)

Low light and hard setting to blame.
Thanks Mcramer

Thanks for your comment about my webpage. I realized the problem but I was just too lazy to update the old pages. My webpage is divided into two sections. On the left handside is the photo blog which I use my NX70V to take snapshots. On the right handside is the photo gallery which I use my SONY 505 (huge) camera to take "professional" pictures. By the way, all of the pictures were taken in Hong Kong and Taiwan.

Sunny

Godzilla63,
Nice to know there is someone else from HK too. My web host is http://stormhosts.net
It is not the cheapest, but I really wanted to have ASP.NET and database to use with my web site, and Stormhost seems to be more reasonably priced and reliable. Stormhosts is located in USA I think. Feel free to send me an email (sunnyx at yahoo dot com) if you have any question.

Sunny

Thanks Sunnyx ....there seems to be a few people from hk posting on this site. I guess I'm not so surprised there a lot of clie users here - much more than I've seen elsewhere.

hmmm, i wonder, why did it not log me in?
Sorry for the illiterate post above. I couldn't edit it, what i meant to say was ...
Pictures taken with my NZ90 print out great on my new Epson Photo 915 printer. Absolutely stunning is the word. Especially the picture of the sun on the waves.
But on a day to day basis, i find i snap less pictures than when i had my NR70V. As I could whip it out at a moments notice and snap. Where as the NZ you have to wait around a bit, and miss the moment.
I love the idea of a photoblog though. I've just been writing a script for something else, but would do the photoblog job perfectly.

I'm getting an NX70 soon and the thought of just snapping pics at a glance of something and then putting them into a photo blog seems like a cool idea!

Those pics came out pretty good. Probably comparable to my cybershot on it's VGA/email setting. i may have underestimated the clie cams . . . . wish i had one now

I like it. I've only worked with one other lowres camera and that was the Targus Handcam. I'm getting stuff substantially better than it.
I'm going to try and keep up photo taking for the rest of the month at least with daily updates... After that, who knows...
