Is there a word document editor that:

1 Supports hires+
2 Supports OS 5
3 edits word files from a card ---> WITHOUT A STUPID CONDUIT AND INSTALLED SOFTWARE ON PC
4 isnt huge

I really hate those conduits that add onto the sync process like pests
Thats why avantgo had to go... ;)

I heard that Quick Office might. Never tried it myself, but supposedly it will edit documents in their native format. There was a rumor that Docs to Go was coming out with something similar. I hope that helps, and no I don't have a link, sorry!

I have Quick Office and it uses conduits, however Quick Office Premier lets you edit documents in their native format. I haven't used Premier so I can't say how well it works. I'm new to posting on message boards: quickoffice.com is the address.

I use Premier. It can open native documents, but can't save changes back to the native file. That feature is supposed to be coming out in a later version. Works great with Snappermail to recieve native Word and Excel files, you just can't save the changes back yet.
