I am trying to use the ClieMail to read and write mail and Hotsync it back to the computer. The thing is, I put all the POP3 thingys they told me to do, and it's still not working. Is there anyway you can do it without Outlook Express? I use an attbi.com address, and everytime I write up something on my NX and HotSync it, there's always an error problem saying that you need to check your settings. Anyone had this problem, if so PLEASE HELP!!

You can use WiFi, a modem, or a cellular phone as a modem. I don't think you would need to put in those POP3 thingies if you HotSync with Outlook Express. I use my Clie via the wireless LAN, so I have to have the POP3 thingies, because it's independent of what's on my PC. I set it to leave messages on the server. When sending emails, I carbon copy it to myself so there will be a record on my PC when I retrieve my emails there.

Now, I use iambic email, the main reason is that it strips out most of the HTML code when reading it on the Clie.

I haven't bothered HotSyncing to Outlook Express in a long time. All I can say is check the conduit settings.

I use Dataviz email to pick up emails during Hotsync with Outlook. Works fine as can read attachments with the Docs to Go features. Only problem is cannot use wifi to pick up emails by connecting to server. I think Dataviz do another product InboxtoGo for that but not tried it.

However, can pick up emails via wifi from email server using ClieMail - only issue is the attachments
