After I have installed CF software, the "Netfont" icon disappears even though .....

After I have installed CF software, the "Netfont" icon disappears completely even though it is still in the memory. I have tried to reinstall it for numerous times. It still doesn't work! It means that I cannot surf the net from now on. Any comments on this? What should I do? Help!

You need to have 6 to 8 megabytes of free RAM to install NetFront. Then after it occupies about 2 megabytes or so. The CF driver should not have interferred. NetFront can also be moved and run from the memory stick if you have PowerRun. It will cut down on any issues in the future as the result of a hard reset. Otherwise, it's one of the first apps that has to be installed before any others.

I realize you see the install file in RAM and yes you will NOT see the Icon in the launcher until it has installed itself. PowerRun is the only way to run it from the memory stick. The developer of PowerRun specifically rewrote his app to accomodate NetFront.

My additional suggestion, as I had a similar problem from installing the CD version of NetFront is to get the updated version here http://avina.best.vwh.net/palm.html from demannu's site. I installed this version and BAM! There it was and it worked perfectly:) This is on an my NX - FYI. And use PowerRun like n2ifp suggests.
