Clie and WIndows 3.1

Does anybody know of a way to hotsync or at least somehow use a Clie with Windows 3.1.
My real laptop bit the dust and I only have a 386 Win 3.1 laptop otherwise at the moment, well I actually have a Timex Sinclair as well, but ...
I have a work computer (2Ghz with Win XP), but I always get a device not recognized error when I try to use it.

What is this Windows 3.1 you speak of? and you have 386 of them? you must be smoking something... :p

j/k, actually, you may not be able to do it, as palm hasn't supported win3.1 for almost 4 years. I tried the same thing on my girlfriends laptop (it was all she had) with similar processor and crappy version of windows (but then again, which version of windows isn't crappy?), only to find it was not possible. esp if you have a USB palm (my gf's was a serial version, and even that could not work). sorry :(
