Has anybody else run into this?

I run a Hotsync, and during the backup phase everything works fine right up until it hits NetFront.prc I get the following in my logs.

"Backup synchronization failed
'Backup' failed (error = Unknown Sync Error)"

My Hotsync Manager on my mac recognizes the problem right away and stops the hotsync. But my TG50 still says "Syncronizing Netfront 3.0", and will continue to display this until I soft reset it.

(BTW, I'm hotsyncing TG50 to MacOS X 10.2 with Desktop 4.1 on a G4/1000).

Oddly, backup used to work fine until my last hard reset, a couple of weeks ago. Then it started doing this. I've resorted to omitting the Backup conduit so I can get a decent Hotsync.

It backs up to memory stick ok, but my boss scofffed with my MS so now I'm trying to go back to good old fashioned Hotsync backup.

I tried deleting and reinstalling Netfront to no effect.

I've posted how to fix this in the Clie-Mac forum. Search NetFront there.

Perfect!

In case anybody's wondering, jaydisc's tip was to install FileZ, and set the backup date of the Netfront app to Today. After I did this, my Backup hotsync worked like a charm.
