vB experts: best way to include images in posts?

I'm uncertain whether the following issue falls into 'comments/suggestions' or 'general', so I apologise in advance if this is interpreted as cross posting!

I'm trying to figure out what the best way to include pictures in posts using vB without messing up the alignment ie. getting an equivelant of


<P> or <BR>

I made a reply on your previous post.

We have created a custom tag for that. Use [IMGN] which actually has a <br> at the end.
