This indispensable app gets even better with VFS support. Now you can access your icon library dbs on your MS! :)

I wish Chris would remove the "Tap here for important Sony info." button from the front page - 'bout time everybody and their grandmothers know about this wonderful software and the issue with Sony OS4 devices.

It's like having the yellow "do not cross" tapes around a murder scene... ;)

Chris, are you reading this? :D

Considering the trouble you've been having with PalmGear, is there a way to get the upgrade elsewhere?

I could not find it at Handango, so I'm afraid Palm Gear is the only source. For others reading this:

Beware!

I totally disagree, no matter how long an app is around, there will always be new users. That button probably saves hundreds of repeated inquires on forums like this "Why won't icons work on my Clie?", in which case we would need lots more murder scene tape.:D

I think the trick is to just use the "Download Now" button w/o signing in as I mentioned in that thread.

I went to Icon Manager User Group in Yahoo Groups.  The link points back to PalmGear.

"I could not find it at Handango, so I'm afraid Palm Gear is the only source. "

Guess all the vocal boycotters of Palm Gear will be out of luck.

Your are probably right. I am hoping Chris would find a better way to warn new users - put in under a menu or code a detection routine and pop-up a warning as and when a potential problem is detected, etc...

Call me picky if you will - but it really mess up an otherwise clean interface. ;)

As much as I want to support Chris and buy Icon Manager, I'll be holding on to my money until it's available at Handango, or at least someplace other than Palm Gear.

better to buy it from PG ... if you have a choice between PG and Handango.... Handango keeps 30% .... PG only 25% ..... Chris will get a little more $$$ from purchases on PG than Handango.

I thought Palmgear's "Premier Partner Program" takes 40%.

However, with Handango I can still access my purchases for upgrades from the very first one I bought to the present.

At PalmGear you can no longer get your upgrades without a lot of farting around (writing to them, writing to the developer).

I want access when "I" want it and not 2 or 3 weeks later when PG gets around to getting me the info.

Hmmm... I don't like to say good things about palmgear but...

I usually get my billing info almost instantaneously, and download info within couple of days. And I am on the exact opposite side of the planet from where they are ...
