As I was checking out the new NX80 I noticed this new all white Sony Keyboard. This thing has to be compatable with my NX70. Thin and slick indeed.

Sorry to burst your bubble, but I checked the Sony Japan site for the NX70V to see if it was compatible with the keyboard, and it's not listed as being so. As for the new models like many people I'm very dissapointed and underwhelmed. I was hoping they (the NX73V and NX80V) would have Bluetooth, faster processors, and more memory. I doubt I'll be upgrading to the NX73V or the NX80V because for me they aren't big enough of an upgrade. What would make me consider upgrading even more though is if the new keyboard (as listed here) is not compatible with the current NX series and only the new models. I didn't want to modify my KB11 keyboard to work with the NX70V and sold it under the idea the new keyboard would be compatible. We can only hope it is, but so far it doesn't look hopeful.

As for the KB100 keyboard, it looks similar to but different from the Stowaway XT (http://www.thinkoutside.com/products/palmxt-oview.html). The XT has a lot fewer buttons than this keyboard, which means this keyboard may be Sony's own version of the XT with additional keys. It may also by the Sony XT variant for the Asian markets, and the US and Europe models of the KB100 will look a lot more like the XT.

Hopefully I too won't be force to mod the current Clie keyboard. Or use the Belkin with the apparently slow/incomplete drivers.
