The built-in applications just allow you to take still pictures. But there is a nice piece of software called Vivid (http://www.clievideo.com/) that allows you to shoot videos. Give it a try! :)

j0nblayz, I think the NX70V has some pretty significant differences to the NR for your money.

Believe me, upgrading to the NR70v is not worth the money. Get an NX...

hehe, trust me, its worth it, i got a great deal on a used nr70v, almost for the same price i paid for my used nr70, and i already have people lined up who wants to buy my nr70, i'll end up not loosing any money maybe few bucks.. so its worth it.. and the nx70 is more the double the price of what i paid for my nr70v, so you tell me, is it worth gettin the nx70? i dont think so, i know it got newer features, but i personally wouldn't spend that much yet, not until the new models come out, then maybe i'll decide to spend the few more hundred to upgrade to palm os 5, personally think NR's are the perfect palm, and with the camera i think it'll be even better, i dont wanna upgrade yet to os5 yet since most of the hacks i use dont work, and plus, nr70 is perfect for me... can't wait till i recieve my nr70v..

If I had the money, I would go for the NX70V. I've got an NR70V now, and would love a higher res camera, the CF slot, and MS Pro support. Yes, it's more expensive, yes, the MS Pros are more expensive. It's also faster, and I'd love to only have 1 MS, never having to switch out. OS 5 isn't that great an improvement, but I wouldn't buy it for OS 5.

But don't get me wrong...I love my NR, and if you can't afford the NX, it's a great machine.

thats what i'm sayin, if i had the money, i would buy the nx70, but since i'm kinda broke, i rather have the nr70v which is much cheaper.. i would love to have the cf and ms pro support, wireless lan cf would be the bomb.. lets just wait and see what sony has for the new models...

For me, I think that the digital camera of NR is good enough due to the fact that you don't need such a high quality camerca just for the palm.
First of all, even u have a very high quality camera, you cannot take professional/best qualithy photo, compare to regular (digital) cameras which have many features, better viewing/zooming, etc... NZ90 has a 2Mp cam, but you can get a higher quality digital-camera than NZ90 has for $200.
Also, when I import my photoes into my computer, i can see them crystal clearly !-_-! . However, when i print it using my photo printer, it cannot print as good as the one in my computer. That means that I don't really need such a good camera. (that's just my opinion, maybe you would disagree)
Last, but not least, I guess NR70V is good enough for you to have fun, taking pictures of friends and have good memories.
If you just pay a few more bucks in order to get a NR70V, I support you to do so!-_-!
