Palm WOW

64 meg version of the Palm. What is sony's deal. Release a very attractive piece of equipment and then they forget about it. This is getting frustrating. All i want is to be able to use my Clie as a GPS is that to much for to ask.

With PowerRun and JackFlash, I am happy with my NX70. It's working so nice now after all the work I have put into it. I have had mine for 7 months and it's still is brandy new condition :)

That is precisely the 2 million dollar question. As it is now, no doubt that T/C has the best overall package than any Clie. I am very tempted to get T/C but when i think about it, my 665 is adequate for my need.

For now using jackflash and Powerrun I have sufficient RAM free to allow me to run any application I want. Sure more RAM would be great but I can use the Clie for all applications that I need currently!

I could definitly do with more RAM. I'm sick of Avantgo, NetFront, ClieView 1.1, Handstory Basic, and some others I can't remember, getting corrupt over several uses with PowerRun.

:(  Now I have to keep backup copies of these apps on the MS so I can do some funky voodoo to restore my files (I have to remeber which file contains my settings/prefs/bookmarks/etc, and not overwrite them with the defaults.) I also enjoy putting lots of Flash stuff on for the kids, but many will not run due to low internal memory ( I have to move things over to MS in order to run some Flash stuff, and even then it is not always enough.) Personally, I think Sony had new units ready for release, and I believe they took them all back to their factories to up the specs since Palm came out with their very tempting T|C. But alas, I turely enjoy the Sony units, they have this **thing** I am strangely attached to. I'll just have to live with this very wierd way of using my Clie till a new unit with more internal memeory becomes available. :)

T|C with bluetooth.. now that would be great! That keyboard is PERFECT for SMS!!!
