Hello all, I keep reading about getting email and viewing the web wirelessly on my Nx-70v, but can anyone enlighten me on what exactly I would need to do so.

Basically I would want to use it in my house and yard, so what would I need for my computer and for my clie.

Sorry for the obvious questions but I just don't know.

No problem. You need WiFi for your solution, not bluetooth.

You need the Sony WiFi card for your NX. You can get either the WL100 or the WL110. I have the WL100 and it works great. Both should be just about identical.

You need a wireless eithernet router. This will hook up to your cable/dsl modem and serve as the router for your network. If you already have a router, you can get a WiFi access point. This will go into the switch port of your router and provide the WiFi signal off of that.

Here are a couple WiFi routers. Someone else will have to chime in on how well these work with the WL100 cards. I have a Linksys, and it works great, but I have no experience with these other two.

I have a wifi card (Linksys 54g) in my PC, the Sony wifi card in the Clie, a Linksys WRT54G router - I use the PC and Clie from all over the house. There is another thread currently active which is a list of all working wifi routers (check it out)

Cheers

While WiFi was your only choice before, it now appears that there are now Bluetooth access points available. The Belkins seems to also act as a print server, with 2 USB ports, and claims 300 ft range.

I don't have one myself, nor know anyone with one, but here's a link:
