What the heck? They're selling it for $300 in the US now, while in Canada it's more than double at $649, does anybody see anything wrong with that? Why is it going for so much in canada while it should be the same price as the zire 71 at $449. Are there circuit citys in canada? If there are, is the same thing going on? If it is, maybe I can still get a little bit of a refund on my tg50.

Best buys are already in canada... Sony Canada is really screwing with our clie prices. I'll just have to collect pepsi points if I want another one, which has to be the SJ33, and then I'd give the SJ33 away, lol.

Wicked! Think I could use future shop's 110% policy with my 37 day trade period? I'm over my 30 day period, but would they do it anyways? I mean, I could still trade it in for another pda, then trade back for the exact same deal, but I would like a direct refund. Either way, I think it would be a well earned $100 to $150 for using my PDA wisely.

Well, future shop is still selling it for $649. If you're going to return it, return it NOW before they drop the price, otherwise they'll only give you $569 back, since you're past the 30 days.

If they only give you exchange credit, then pick up something else, then return that item later for cash.

Isn't their policy that it's if you find it at another store for a lower price, or the price lowers itself before the 30 day limit, they'd give you 110% refund (basically meaning getting 10% back if you're planning to keep the device). I'm not sure if this works on the 7-day grace trade period though. If it does, I need to trade up anyways, broken styli actually instead the clie, can't get out.

No, they're very strict about their 30 day price protection. They're more lenient on their 30 day return policy. You can at least exchange after 37 days. When you exchange, you'll get a new receipt with the new date. At that point, you can go in a day later and do a price protection, since according to their system, it will have been only 1 day.
