Going to buy an NX70V soon, and wanted some advice from those who already bought. I'm seeing some refurbs on ebay, but I don't want a refurb. I bought a peg n760 refurb on ebay and did not have good luck.

I got mine from Dell also, and despite lots of bad experiences other people had with Dell, I got $50 off my order and free shipping at the time I bought it. And it was ground shipping, but it was at my door about 40 hours after I ordered it. I was very pleased!

I got mine early last November from Best Buy for $549.00. They were the only place locally at the time that had two of them. My brother and I buy two of everything...his and his:D!

i got my gun-metal nx from pcconnection.com for $599 in mid-december. it was a bundle deal that included a 128 mb memory stick and a universal leather pda case (that requires velcro to hold the pda - needless to say, i don't use it). i don't know if that bundle deal is still available, but i thought it was great to get a free memory stick included.

494.10 from dell after using a 10% auto discount and a stackable coupon. You can find coupon and auto discount deals at www.techbargains.com (http://www.techbargains.com)
I bought from dell home so had to pay shipping (it's a small package) and did not have to pay tax. Dell Business would have given a better price overall, but it did charge tax.

I got mine from MP Superstore (aka Marine park) for $528 on 12/21/02. MP was one of the stores involved in the MSN 20% rebate. I was skeptical about buying from MP as I had a disatrous dealing with them back in 1987 (LaserDisc anyone?) but with the return gurantee that Amex offers I figured it would be worth it.

The MSN rebate will be a $100 credit that can be applied to any MSN partner store. I plan to use it at Dell for the WiFi card, combining it with one of their many 10-15% off deals that can be found on the deal sites...techbragains.com, fatwallet, xpbargains etc.

I pick up one memory stick from Amazon for $31 after rebate, and the other at Frys for $37 AR.

Took my NR to CircuitCity where I exchanged it for a new NX after I paid the diff between a new NR and NX (store credit for NR + ~$100). I was pleasantly surprised as: 1) did not have a receipt, 2) did not have NR retail box, 3) had dropped NR so it had some scratches.

On a side note, now I use the leash that came w/ NX religiously (but don't twirl it around a skip down hallways as someone else reported in another thread :^)!
