need help sending mail with clie mail

ive got the nz90, i use a sony ericsson t68i with bluetooth, and my provider is TMOBILE, I also have the 10mb webspace addon. I signed up for yahoo pop forwarding, and i can get my email, but i just cant send any out. Can anyone help?????:confused:

What do you have setup under your SMTP server settings? Are you getting any error messages?

ive got smtp.mail.yahoo.com and the error says to check port or server settings

When you go to the Account settings, click on the server, then click Edit, then More, does it say 25 for the SMTP port?

Looks like Yahoo also requires authentication on outgoing mail. I haven't done this in Clie Mail, but it looks like on the same screen as the port settings there is an Authentication option. I would try the SMTP AUTH option in that drop down box.

Looks like you may be out of luck trying to use Yahoo, sorry. :(

thanks for the help, i appreciate it. do think id be able to read my yahoo mail and then send mail out over my hotmail account?

Not sure if Hotmail will work, but you could probably use your ISP's server.
