Probs with Documents To Go

Hi everybody!
When I install DOCUMENTS TO GO (which comes along with the Clié BX70 CD) all works fine when I leave all the things (Sheets To Go, Documents, Word To Go and/or not the WTGFontPackage.pdb) in the INTERNAL MEMORY.
Since the stuff is rather voluminous I wanted to move it to the MS.
I tried that with LauncherX (still knowing that afterwards I have to create SHORTCUTS with LaucherX in order to be able to synchronize) and with POWERRUN.
BUT always after ONE successful try the PRG's hang up no matter which methid I try!
Can anybody help me out of this???

Hi Hans,

You can move Word & Sheet to the MS, but you must leave Docs & Fonts in internal memory.

I tried moving Doc to Go components to MS and they worked to a degree but not reliably. I spoke to the developers and they said that MS support is not provided currently - perhaps in a future release. Best way forward was to move most to Flash using JackFlash - all works fine noe

When I moved Docs to Go to my MS and tried to run it I got a message saying that my software wasn't licenced and it wouldn't run so I moved it back to internal memory. I did this through zlauncher.

I get A NULL HANDLE ERROR and must RESET.

Read the help file in the DTG desktop application:

How do I move the Documents To Go handheld applications to my Expansion Card?
(Note: To Move the handheld applications to the expansion card, you must first copy the applications to the expansion card and then delete the handheld applications from the handheld.)


1. On your handheld, tap on Home (The house in the bottom left hand corner).
2. Tap the drop down "Menu" icon and select "copy" from the "App" menu.
3. Highlight the Documents To Go handheld application that you wish to copy to your Expansion Card (such as Word To Go, Sheet To Go, and Slideshow To Go). Please note, you can not copy the main "Documents" application to the expansion card.
4. Select the appropriate Copy To: and From: locations and tap copy.
5. Repeat these steps for any other handheld application you wish to copy to the expansion card.
