Please don't tell me I wasted my money on Kinoma and Kinoma Producer?
I was looking for something better than the Clie Movie Player but it seems Kinoma was a waste.
Am I not using it to its potential? It's super slow and the picture quality is sub-par.
Any advice or tips or tips

I meant the data transfer is super slow. The picture doesn't appear as good as movie player either.

what data transfer you mean?

increae the bitrate, kinoma can give you very impressive results with high bitrates. don't select an excessively high frame rate or else the picture quality will deteriorate..

i just made bit rate 1000 and frames 8. And it's still s-l-o-w. and it's only a music video.

Don't expect to get great picture quality out of the Cinepak codec used in Kinoma. It's a >10 yrs old codec. ;) 1000kpbs on the Cinepak is probably somewhere around 500kpbs on the mpeg format supported by Movie Player.

Kinoma is worse than the built in movie player. You're comparing an acient Cinepak codec with a newish MPEG4-like codec.

I never thought I'd say it, but the built in movie player is better.
