I've been trying to download HandStory(Basic) from Palmgear all day and it keeps giving me an error.

The Mac *.pif version downloads find, but that doesn't do ME any good. hee.

Is there anywhere else I can get HandStory(Basic) (which means the free version) other than palmgear? I'm chomping at the bit to try out my first doc reader on my Clie. :D

I'm getting frustrated with myself.

The link mentioned above is where I tried to get it before and all day long and where I just tried again.. and each time it tosses me back to palmgear.com's error page saying I can't download that program.

Maybe someone can just email it to me? (frown/pout)

Have you tried right-clicking on the link and chosing "Save as?"

Go to your "cookies" folder and delete them all and try again. If it still doesn't work, reboot your PC. If that doesn't fix it, you probably have a corrupt dll driver. I had the same thing happen a while back with certain sites/links. You might be able to fix it by reinstalling your OS. :(

1. Delete Cookies: Done
2. Reboot PC: Done
3. Reinstall OS: I'd rather eat shards of broken glass.

Ah well.. so much for HandStory.. time to go back and look at iSilo and figure that out.

I'll e-mail it to you if you give me your e-mail address. Or e-mail me. My address is in my profile.

I tried to e-mail you, but you have it set so that people can't see your address.

Thank you so very much OcellNuri for the email (w/ attached file)!!

It works perfect.. now I've got all kinds of ideas and things to do with e-books and the like. Like a kid in a candy store. :D

I think I'm gunna end up registering this app.. give it some more palm-time and see how it works out first though.

Thanks!!

you wont get any more functionality (palm-wise) if you register the program.

i have the registered and it allows u to create custom clips on the pc side (vs selecting text and clipping it).

so if you're not gonna use it for more than just reading their premade clips or clipboard copying, you wont need it

just to let you know..
