Hi folks,

since I like the Jog Dial on my Sony cellular phone and I plan to buy a new Mac without serial interface I thought about upgrading my PDA from IIIxe to Sony Clié.

I read the thread which Clié models sync on Mac with or without Missing Sync.

As the T-425 will be my favourite Clié to buy there was no report on this machine regarding sync on Mac.

Can anyone help me?

Tnx!

The T-415 (US equivalent model) syncs just fine, so I suspect the T-425 will as well. Since you are using MacOS 9, you should download Palm Desktop v. 2.6.3.

The T-425, 415, 400, 615, 625, 600 will ALL sync on OS 9 or X without the Missing Sync.

Follow elo's advice about downloading Palm Desktop 2.6.3, because I believe it's the first with USB support.

Many thanx for reply. True - I use Palm Desktop 2.6.3 already with my IIIxe and since I added an USB card to my G3 it installed USB support too.

Tnx for all replies.

BTW: Should I upgrade to Palm Desktop 4? Is there a paper where I can read about the benefits in upgrading?

There's really no benefits in upgrading that I can think of except for OS X

Tnx. For my mail and net G3 there will be no OS X in near future. The MIDI machine will be another story ...
