How long does it take a 9mb file on the memory stick to load. I have been waiting for 10 minutes and it is still saying please wait movie loading.
Seconds if you use MSImport.

There's definitely something wrong...it shouldn't be taking even close to that long. When I load the 44mb Animatrix intallment, it takes just seconds. I'd try deleting it and starting over...

Welcome back. I ditched gMovie more than a year ago and went with Kinoma Player. May be you can try Kinoma.

Aye, but what is the difference, i really dont see any except the fact that it can play 2 more file formats. And if you want to make movies into those file formats you have to pay..
Here is a comment made by TankerBob in his website (http://www.tankerbob.com/palm/): "*Kinoma Player - (141K) Freeware by Kinoma. Awesome hi res movie player that works extremely well on the T615C/T665C--much better than gMovie that comes with the CLIE. Some Sony movie trailers available in Kinoma format. You can make/convert your own stuff with Kinoma Producer, which is commercial. Movie trailers are on the order of 6.5 Mb in hi res, but play very well from the memory card. Unlike gMovie, Kinoma also supports the T- and NR-series built-in polyphonic speakers. There seem to be ongoing problems with the Producer keeping the sound synced or going at all at higher frame rates. UPDATE: Sony is shipping Kinoma with newer Clie devices instead of gMovie. Good move!"
I put Kinoma in MS and got rid of gMovie from ROM with JackSprat. This move saved me additional 66KB FlashROM space for more useful app.

My Kinoma came on my SJ22 but whenever I play movies of a few megabytes off of a 128mb memory stick it freezes after about 30 seconds and gives an error saying please free up more memory.
