Fontsmoother for Android (please)

Hey Alex

Now that Palm is dead in the water how about coming over to Android? Font handling sucks and we really need a Fontsmoother type app. I really miss it. Any chance?

I am surprised. I would assume that Android has just as nice, or nicer, font handling than FontSmoother.

In fact, in FontSmoother I've been including the Droid font from Android (since it's Apache licensed), and I find that Droid is one of the two best-looking fonts I have (the other is Utopia).

The actual fonts look good but you cannot (easily) change the font sizes in applications. There are just system wide fonts. Sometimes the font is just too small to be read comfortably. You can just about change the system font but then it doesn't fit properly in the dialogue boxes
