POS 4 Audioplayer can not create playlists, nor can audioplayer DA or ajvmp3 (or however u spell it). The Sony Audioplayerl the NR has just lists files from last put on the first put on (or vice versa, cant' remember)

Spiral's right, unfortunately. And I, as well, can't remember which order it reads them...

The files are played in the order as they are stored on the MS. If you copy it via Explorer then you can not clearly determine which order the files are place on.
I use instead the good old Shell with 'copy' :p Especially since the files are sorted by index and copy work predicable in the order of the filenames.

AJVMP3 will kind of. Download id3 editor http://www.nybble.net/id3 use it to change the album setting on the individual mp3 files. That will at least lump songs together and you can jump to "playlists".

There is a utility called MP3Mgr, which is a real crap, but allow you to change the song order.
I've attached it to this post.
