I think the size is still impressive considering the removable battery + the 2 megapixel camera + built-in bluetooth...

No, it is not too big, because, it includes :
- a 2.1M camera
- a Palm
- a kryboard
- a Voice recorder
- a mini movie camera
- a MP3 player
- etc.

This is incredibly subjective. Obviously it is too big for some people and just fine for others. Asking other people this question is like asking them what you should cook for dinner. It reflects their tastes and opinions and not yours.
You could always test it the way that Hawkins tested the size for the original Pilot. Just cut out an NZ size chunk of wood and carry it everywhere you go for a week or so. If you don't mind carrying it in your hands, pockets, fanny pack, or whatever then the size is fine. Evidently the folks at Palm trimmed the size a number of times to come up with something that they could live with.
Or you could find someplace with a really good return policy and 'test drive' one for a week or so. Just make sure that there isn't a restocking fee and that the store will take back an $800 item that isn't defective.

That's EXACTLY what I did before I switched to the NZ. Made a wood mockup and fitted ti to my existing case. Didn't even bother pulling it out of the box til the purchase was final...
Like all other things in the universe, size is relative. The size of the NZ90 doubly so. (As all DNA fans would agree.) Some feel it's too big. Others, like myself, appreciate the device for all it does for us and don't mind the slightly larger size & weight.
I have a nice (and cheap) targus case with velcro belt loop for my NZ and carry it around as if it were the tiniest PDA.

Best buy does the "test drives" I did that... i bought a SJ22 returned (no restocking fee within 14 days) A TG50 and finaly ended and decided on a NX60.

It is really big, considering that we are trying to make every gadget as small as possible yet powerful. This ia also the reason why I chose NX70.
