I happen to work at RadioShack and we put the current version of our current line of CF->PCMCIA adapters up as discontinued, I'm picking one up at soon as I have money, they are (I believe) $13.97 (US). Never tried one, but I'm pretty darn sure they would be good quality.

Online, I have seen them as low as $7.00 USD.

At one time some manufacturers were even giving them away.

Isn't a CF-PCMCIA adaptor just a bridge of wires? I remember reading somewhere that CF was designed to be just a smaller version of PC card.

CF is just "mini-PCMCIA". I got my adapter for $9.

Alright, I guess I was wrong about the price, but hey if nothing else is near you, might be a good deal!
