I have been trying out an InnoPocket case for my NX which a co-worker wants to sell me. I think I like it, but the drawback is you have to remove the handheld to sync it. Will the case hold up to daily removals without "losing its grip" on the NX, or am I best served by getting a sync cable and foregoing the cradle?

Thanks!

Still holds tightly for me and I've been using for at least 4 months now.

I use one of those USB Cables. I got it off eBay, they are cheaper there.

Mine still holds very strongly, and I am also adding some features to it (I love MODing) which I will show soon:)

Hey everyone -

I just got my Innopocket deluxe case, and overall I think I like it. It is pretty big, but so is the NX!

One gripe is that I end up hitting the "voice record" button every time I go to open the case. I'll have to be careful about that.

Anyway, I don't like the idea of taking the NX in and out of the case to sync it with my desktop. Where can I get one of these minisync cables? Are they a standard USB-type cable, or is it a proprietary Sony cable that I will have to pay out the nose for?

Here's another question: has anyone successfully added a belt clip to the Innopocket case?

Thanks!

LL

You can use a utility like McFling/ZLauncher to remap the voice record button for some other function.

I bought a retractable USB to NX cable from Global Source for $17. http://www.glblsrc.com/shop/customer/product.php?productid=54. It works great without having to remove the NX from the case.

I use and love my Innopocket, I use a cable or take it out for hotsync.

I don't have any issues with the record button, how are you handling it when opening your case? :D
