I've finally got my hands on the sony bluetooth memory stick and I'm getting some grief. Hoping someone can help.
I've got the latest drivers from the sony-site and I think I've set up ok. But when I go into Prefs/Network and click the connect button, it pauses for a seond then a popup comes up saying:

Error: Serial: timeout. Could be bad cable or faulty modem. (0x0305).

Now I don't think it's the card cos it managed to find my t68i phone and register it.
Any help would be appreciated.

I'm having the same problem. I was able to get a connection earlier and then all of the sudden I started having problems. I have tried everything. Hard resets etc. I wonder if something I installed went to the flash and messed it up. I don't know if that is possible but I imagine it would be.

Let me know if you hear anything.

By the way I'm using a NX73V with a T68I Sony Ericsson phone, and BTMS.

Cheers

Sounds like you didn't complete the pairing-process oft the phone and the palm. There have to be a lot of forum-entries describing this.

I did set my T68 to "be detectable" (this stays on for about 3 min) and after the first time when my nz90 detected the phone in the bluetooth-prefs I started the pairing process from the phone. I then had to enter the same password in the phone and the palm. Afterwards the phone was registered in the paired-devices list of the palm and stays there. This means, that at each connection (sms, dial-up-networking uso.) the palm recognizes the phone back due to the pairing settings.
