To ones who bought MS PRO

Do you think Sony should make the new driver for NX to let it be able to play the Attrac3 file format?
I sent sony an e-mail but they haven't reply yet.
Everyone who bought Ms Pro MG,pleaseee send sony a mail to let them know that we need the new driver!!!!!!

The problem is that I don't think it's possible due to technical reasons and that the MS Pro is not native to the Clie. ATRAC3 file format is supported in MS Pro native devices only.

I really don't care either way. I find MP3 adequate enough to listen too. Never felt the urge to "need" ATRAC3, but if it was supported that would be fine too.

I have issues with Sony trying to control me, so I abhore the ATRAC3 format. MP3's work fine for me too...

I haven't even tried ATRAC3, and don't see much use for it, if you can't copy it to wherever you want: i would not be able to put ATRAC3 files in my CF card

I'm not much of a fan of ATRAC since it needs lots of memory to load up on the PC in the first place.
but isn't there an update for SONY's Sonic Stage so that it can copy songs in MP3 format rather than the ATRAC3 format, so that you can use it on the MS Pro?

There are numerous MP3 ripping apps, some free, many dump their Sonic Stage.

The visualizer is nice though :)

I find mp3 is fine and am not a great fan of Sonic stage

Given how 'closed' Sony are re:API drivers for camera et al, why go down the road of yet another Sony only route!

I am also against Sony's proprietary controls. I don't think I would like ATRAC either way though. I am certainly all for someone finally cracking Sony's audio APIs to allow an Ogg Vorbis player to be available for my NX.

IMHO, the best way for them to push a format like that would be to do something REALLY useful, like extend battery life or something of the sort.
