New MS Pro - can't play mp3's

Just got a new SanDisk 512 mb Memory Stick pro for my NX70V and ran into a weird problem.

When I copy some mp3 files onto MS pro and try to play them in Audio Player, the Clie will play only 3 seconds of each file, then skip to the next one, play 3 seconds, skip to the next, etc.

When I use a regular Memory Stick, the player works just fine.

Did you download and install the required MS Pro driver from Sony's support site??

Sony's support site shows how to verify the file versions.

There are multiple Sony support sites, depending on the Clie's region. Several others had the same issue because they downloaded from the wrong support site. For example, the Austrailian model has to downlaod from an Asian support site.

On the home page of ClieSource is a listing on the right side of the page for the different sites.

yeah, unless you have the correct patch for supporting the MS Pro, this mp3 skipping problem will continue. This was once an issue discussed back then when the actual MS Pro update patch hasn't been released yet all the stores are selling the MS Pros.

I downloaded the MS Pro update a while ago but I forgot to actually install it.
