App Exists? Lose power, turn off.

I want to use my old LifeDrive as a media player in the car. However, what I would like is: When the Device loses power (because the car was turned off), it will turn off. Does such an application exist, either as a feature of some application or just as a tiny applet?

How about you remove the LifeDrive battery, and keep it plugged in via the car lighter... no car ON/ACC, no LifeDrive media player...

You WILL have to wait for it to boot up every single time you start the car... but with LifeFlash.. that should be about 30 secs or so. :D

i think i recall that these apps have a feature of the sort "if conntected to power do something". you might connect that with the tiny app called "off" from metaview. dunno if this works with whatever mediaplayer you use, though. apt is free, you might try that first :)
