The UX50 is not (and never will be) officially Windows 7 certified, so I suggest you download the Vista version of Palm Desktop from palm.com and try them. I am fairly sure that this will work...

If your Windows is 32-bit, you can manually add your "Device ID" to driver PalmUSBD.inf from latest PalmDesktop and it will work for you. If your Windows is 64-bit, there will be no usb syncing, but you still can try hotsync via WiFi...
BTW there is Data Import driver in Windows 7, you just need to manually choose them when your device is connected. Driver locates in All Devices -> Sony Corporation -> Sony MG Memory Stick CLIE

I have the same problem as hduque.

I just bought a Windows 7, 64bit PC and everything works but my hotsyncing with my Sony Clie 50UX. I installed the Palm 6.2, I have a bluetooth antenna which is installed correctly to my new PC. I do the hotsync via bluetooth, and everything seems to work fine. I get to the end of the process and all seems well. I have the Windows home premium edition, and see little value in upgrading to the Pro edition just to get one application (Palm) to work to run the virtual XP function.

But when I reopen the PalmDesktop, there is absolutely no data in it. Nothing in Address/Dates/Memo, nothing! I've hotsynced again, no luck. I do find an 'old' version of my data in the directory, and can import that, but it is missing my updates since 2008! (and therefore of little use)

Can anyone help?

You haven't chosen to Hotsync with MS Outlook instead of Palm Desktop have you?
