game gear emulator - demo sonic - no sound?

I'm using the 5 minute demo of sonic, I like it a lot, but there's no sound. I don't have my palm muted, and the sound box is activated (in the game). Is this because it's the demo or should I do a hard reset (it's been acting up latly)?

the emulator doesn't produce sound in clies because it wasn't written for clies.

ohhhh ok... yea i know it wasn't produced for them, I just wanted to check it out. I hope they support them soon! Thanks.
