OH MY LORD!! What is the world coming to! (Microsoft Ads)

As I turned on my computer this morning, all was right with the world. Then I see the large Microsoft Pocket PC ad in the banner on Clie Source. I guess they'll take money from anyone. Anyway, Since I saw the ad I rushed right out and bought an HP. WOW!!! Now that's what I like, Advertising that works. :)

Since I've seen the Palm Zire 71 here I cann't stop thinking; should I have bought that instead of the Clie SJ22?
And now Palm is ofering $50 for your old Palm when buying a Zire 71, it is just making me crazy :(

Yeah, I thought that pushing the Zire or Tungsten to Clie users was OK because it is kind of a related market, but PPC -- that's really trying to turn people to the Dark Side!

As fanatical and dedicated to Palm OS as people are here, doubt they'll find many converts!.....Hope CS continues to take their money and use it to support Clie's and Palms OS :-)

Welcome to ClieSource, Sera Squared.  Depending on features, I think SONY could get more than that.  But I agree, I don't want a camera either, just a good VG tablet (320X480) that's only big enough to have good battery life.

That kind of advertising is odd. I mean, there is a reason that ABC refuses to carry advertising for CBS programs. Also, TV networks won't carry advertising for products if the actor in them acts like their character from another network. That's why you don't see Bart Simpson's Butterfinger advertisements anywhere but on FOX.

ClieSource ads are handled by Tribal Fusion. It seems like Microsoft has just placed ads on all PDA sites and thus appearing on the site. But we do filter some ad categories like Gambling, Tobaco, Adult oriented, etc.

For me, I don't mind the MS ads. I own a Pocket PC and a SPV Smartphone, but I still like the Clie and the T68i and won't switch. It's nice to play with different devices but for me the features of the NX and the NZ still makes them the winner. :)
