I have two new batteries coming from Vincent Chong for both of my TH55's. I'll be ready to start 2010 off with a fresh start. I've kept abreast of all the smart phones on the market and still have not found the device that can replace my Clies; )

Wainting for the perfect device too. Meanwhile I'm using a Treo 680 and my beloved TH55.

yes, those were good times. I still have my Clies, but their batteries burnt out a long time ago. I moved on to the LifeDrive (kind of like a downgrade in some areas). I got a new battery for it. I still can't find a replacement device. I don't need a phone or an iPhone, etc. I just want a good, solid PDA. Right now my LD is still filling that need.
I hope DGOS breathes new life into it again also.
The only other true PDA devices are WinMo and they are expensive!!!

LD just without the Camera for take pictures or recording video ^^!
The 4GB MD space is waste when release.

I joined in 2004. I loved it then too. Sad how it can just die. We've been loyal to Palm OS for a long time and Palm decides to just drop it.

I joined in 2004 also. Still chugging along with my Centro. Regretfully, I can't say that the Centro is an upgrade in every area, although it certainly is in some.
Particularly I mourn the loss of Graffiti. Even though I have Graffiti Anywhere installed, Graffiti 2 is such a crummy substitute for the original, that I never got back to really using handwriting after switching to Centro.
I still wish there was a TH55 with a brighter screen and an updated OS. It would still be a killer machine.

I still have & love my th-55. Got an iTouch but it's apps are less capable & the input ~ nothing can touch graffiti 1.
But the exchange sync is missing: I more or less need that. Anybody got that solved with TH-55?

An upgraded CPU should be fine too.
