Anybody else having this problem? I'm getting errors trying to move files to my CF card. I have just about 64MB on the card now and when I try to move files (With Cliefiles, ZLauncher Filemanager, McFile or Mapopolis) I get an error (ZLauncher -Error 0080, ClieFiles - an error has occured, McFile - Error 0080 and Mapopolis - Error moving map to card - insufficient memory?)
The card is a 128MB PNY formated as FAT. I tried reformating, running checkdisk. It all checks out OK. I can write to it in a USB & Firewire PC reader.
If I delete some files, then I can write more up to about the 64MB limit.
Is there some magic limit I missed or is there another way that the card should be formatted?

If the error is coming from the driver that means that the controller detected a bad block. Try a different CF card and see if you get better results.

I guess it was a bad block.
My CF usage has been quite a saga. I bought the driver and 1st tried it with a 32MB SanDisk card. Everything worked well. I ordered my 1GB Kingston card which seemed to be working until I got to around 64MB, then I started to see errors. After much testing I came to realize the card had a bad block(s). I RMA'd it with Kingston. (Which BTW was a great exprience. They cross-ship 2 day! I had the new card 3 days after submitting the RMA request). Anyway, while waiting for the 1GB a tried a 128MB PNY I had been using in my Visor Memplug. I again started to get errors at around 64MB. Well to make a long story short I received the 1GB card and now have 940MB on the card! (Anyone know if the driver works with 4GB cards?!). I can't believe I actually ran into 2 bad CF cards!
Another question. What directory structure should be used for MP3s on the CF card when they are copied to the card via a USB reader?
