Hey all! I was fortunate enough to get a NX-60 for 249.99 at Best Buy Albany since it was their display unit. I also got the 2 year PSP, grand total came to about 330.00. I am under the impression that the PSP gives me 250 to spend towards a new handheld should I break it, yet that still wouldn't put me into the same class. Also the casing is not the the worlds best shape (scratched in some places right down to the black undercoating), but the screen only has a few tiny tiny tiny tiny hair scratches near the soft graffiti area. BUT and here is my main concerns.

There is a slight "wiggle" to the display portion, is this normal? Fixable?

Any way to do a paint job on the unit? Last I saw on the board someone broke theirs trying to make a gunmetal.....anyone do this professionally?

So I did some ebay hunting and found this lil guy....

I offered him $300 for it including shipping and he accepted. Then took it off ebay.....so needless to say I'm pretty concerned. Opinions? He requests being paid through PayPal, will I have any way of making sure I'm not ripped off?

I really enjoy this forum and look forward to your opinions!

Um . . . I'd back away slowly, because of this disclaimer on the page you reference:Note: This is a Reserve Auction in which the reserve price was not met. Therefore, there is no transaction between the seller and the high bidder. Since there is no transaction, this item is not eligible for eBay services that protect buyers and sellers, such as transactional feedback, escrow or insurance. Those services are available only for items listed, bought and sold on eBay in compliance with our guidelines and policies. The way I read it, you won't have any recourse whatsoever if it's not sent, if it's broken or whatever. Of course, if you don't have a suspicious nature (like me) and have a spare $300 to throw around, then . . .
