New Clie announcement ??

Manage to find out that there will be an InfoComm 2003 conference, and SONY will be unveiling some new technologies and also the so call "significant announcement" to be made during the conference on 03 Jun 03 (Tue). Well, hope this time SONY is ready for their new clie announcement .... :cool:

Anyone know much about InfoComm?  Doesn't sound like it is the best place to announce a PDA except for MAYBE the March-April rumor of a SONY videocam PDA.  Given the size of the NZ, if this rumored device has half-way (just half-way) decent battery life, I doubt many people would consider it a PDA, though.

I broke my NX70 2 weeks ago and have been waiting for Sony to announce something. I, too, am getting tired of waiting. And carrying around printouts of my calendar and contacts is not fun.

I've been seriously considering the TC, but reading posts from users of the TC are starting to make me re-think this option. Apparently, the TC suffers from loosing its unique MAC address and resetting to a default value, as well as possible digitizer problems. And let me not start on the lack of stereo output!

Argh! I need to buy another PDA soon!

It's coming soon, just look at the writing on the wall. Sony is probably just keeping it quiet because of vendor leaks in the past. When I used to work in the toy industry we had to be very secretive because of industrial espionage can give any competitor a head start at playing catch up.

What if the whole delay in Sony's new HiRes+ T series is to add a camera to compete with the Zire 71, I'm all for competition but not because people were snooping around some Best Buy database to fulfill their PDA Lust. If I were Palm I would want that employee to be severly procecuted for the leak of info.
