Hi. I've never been able to get Bonsai to open with the virtual graffiti area collapsed on my TH55. There is a setting that is supposed to remember the "input area status" but it makes no difference. KeepWide doesn't help here either.

Apparently the setting works fine on other Palm PDAs so it appears to be a TH55/Sony/Clie issue.

Does anyone know a way to get this to work or could advise me on what I could request the Natara developers to implement?

Many thanks,
Cathy

Currently I do not use Bonsai but,

Are you using Landscape for the TH55 on your device?

Hi and thanx for the comment. You mean using Mobile Stream's Landscape utility (which as far as I know is the only way to rotate the screen for Bonsai)?

I've just tried this and the result is the same whether the screen is in portrait or landscape mode i.e. even though I exit Bonsai with the silk screen area down it is always back up again when Bonsai is launched.

This does not happen with other apps probably due to KeepWide. I did disable KeepWide to check if it was conflicting with the Bonsai "Remember input area status" setting but it didn't help.

Come on guys - there must be loads of current or ex TH55 owners with Bonsai installed! Does anyone else have this problem or is just me?

Cathy

I had all sorts of trouble with the VG when I used the landscape utility/app. I deleted it, all works well, and not missed landscape at all

OP: I've never gotten it to open with the VG down, but I can drop the VG area, and always have. No problem there...

Don't know if the Natara folk will do more work on PalmOS stuff...
