Yesterday I used wifi to browse 1src. Do not try the mobile 1src. it seems like a waste of time. Use the regular edition of 1src.
So how many readers here use IPhone or some other PDA to view 1src?

You actually think that browsing on the laughable iPhone is something to compare against? Stop using a toy, and use a device that has more capability to handle more formats and without the dictator oppressing you at every move (Apple).

The slashdot article gave me a clue that some mobile editions are just an afterthought. I rather use my computer for websurfing. Second choice if my brother is on the internet is to use the IPhone. After that I have a Palm TX and if really desparate I can use the Sony Clie Th-55 and if I was really desparate the netfront browser on my PSP slim.

LOL.
And in your infinite wisdom, what would be the better mobile device to browse on? {Please don't say a palm product, or you will lose credibility}

How about a device that doesn't dictate what you can and can't view by means of denying apps on your device? An Android based model? A Windows Mobile based model? Palm devices? I loved them to death, but their time has passed. They simply can't keep up.

While I've owned Palms, BBerry, WinMo, and now iTouch, I find the iTouch clearly superior to them all. I haven't used Android, so maybe that's the best.
But with my iTouch, it's the first time I've considered not lugging my laptop around to access the net. Yes, there are things that don't display properly (or at all), that's certainly much better than my experience on other platforms. It is a very enjoyable experience and doesn't feel like I'm fighting the web pages like I have with the other devices. And with the huge momentum, many sites are making their pages iDevice friendly, and even creating iPhone apps (CBS, ESPN, my local Austin newspaper, etc).
So maybe Apple is "controlling" their devices, they got a lot of things very right with their take on the browser experience. But like I said, Android may be much better; I've just not used one.
