my TX somehow is stuck in some sort of 'stepping mode' during bluetooth usage:

I need to tap/keep tapping the screen to keep progressing whatever I do over bluetooth:

sms send/retrieve
cell phone dialing
email use (Snapper)
and, the 'network service/connect'

I vaguely recall reading about this 'stepping mode' in some Palm docs

how to get out of it ?

if I connect over WiFi, it all works 'normal'

over bluetooth, say, Network, is like:

I get 'initializing' screen, UNLESS I tap, I don't get 'signing on' screen, hand shaking animation doesn't happen

if I keep tapping, it progresses...

help....

look for the app/hack that does it
delete it

this TX was installed 'new' few weeks ago, with your ROM2 with Netfront etc (many thanks for putting that together)

I'm trying hard to recall what were the last few apps that I installed.....

was probably MapDA, but, not really sure.
