DateBk5, Slow

I'm using DateBk5 and I love it. But lately it is slow to open and creating a new appointment is slow also; alsmost to the point of being unusable. (If I'm talking to someone, and we want to meet Saturday at 18:00, I can't make him wait 5 minutes while I wait for DateBk5.) What might the problem be? How can I speed it up?

It may be a dodgy database. Have you tried dBFixit?
