I'm trying to sync my Th55 to my Windows7 64-bit PC, and I have a slight failure.

My son created an virtual WinXP machine using VMware. We set the network sync up on the virtual machine, the Win 7 machine and the TH55. After a bit of testing we got the TH55 to sync with the Win 7 machine. Sort of.

However ... the PIM app seems to only sync one way - from the TH55 to the desktop. Bonsai and SplashID sync properly both ways, just not the Palm PIM application. Any ideas why the sync is only one way?

Thanks!

Edit on the above - now I don't get any sync on the PIM applications. Neither to nor from the TH55, but Bonsia and SplashID still both work.

I could never get Palm Desktop to load, let alone sync, with Vista 64-bit so I'm surprised you're getting it to work, even if just one way, with Win7. This is why I switched to an iPod Touch; I couldn't be bothered putting that much work into it.

Could you list the teasing you did to initially get the TH-55 to sync with WIN 7. If I know what you did to get it to somewhat work I may be able to help.

As I stated earlier, my son did most of the work. He created a virtual PC running WinXP using VMware on his own PC. (This may also work using the built in virtual XP capabilities of Win7). He then loaded up the VMware PC on the Win7 machine. I then installed the Sony software on the virtual machine and on the Win7 machine. We then set up the virtual PC as the network PC and the Win7 machine as the primary PC.

It seems to have worked at least once for the Palm PIM, but now it doesn't. BUT - at least it works for Bonsai and SplashID - and that is what i was mostly trying to do.
