I have written several apps for palm OS. I use linux and the free prc-tools. I use pose to test with. The pose I have from source-forge (version 3.5.2) does not support the clie series of handhelds. Where can I get a pose that does support the clie series?

For PEG-S, PEG-N, and PEG-T Series - there is a 3.2 based POSE emulator

For PEG-NR70 Series (320x480 screen) - there is a different 3.4b8 based POSE emulator

POSE provided in Windows binary and source form.

For NX/NZ specifics, you can't use POSE, you must use the newer "Simulator" (a Windows program that simulates CLIEs, including the ability to pretend simulate ARMlets)

I am aware of those emulators and simulators for Win32 environments. I have downloaded the source and it is Win32 specific. It appears to be written for Unix platforms also but not all the unix source in included in the download. Did I miss something in the download, has someone gotten it to compile LINUX?

I would like a POSE for LINUX that can emulate a clie.

Linux support from the PalmOS source has been dubious at best, and I'm not surprised the Sony modifications are no better.

You may be the first to try it for the CLIE specific features -- ie. do some merging of modifications to get it to work. Other versions of the POSE emulators have been ported...

Options that require less work:
Run the Win32 version of CLIE POSE under Wine (it should work)
Run the Win32 version of CLIE POSE under Windows (it does work)
Run the target program on the actual CLIE device (ie no POSE)
