View Full Version : Menu Activation with Hard Button
I remember on my 760, there was a preferences item for the Jog/Back button. This is not present on the NX60. One thing that I liked was the ability to access the menu items without using the stylus or pressing on the Menu Icon.
Is there a way to achieve this on the NX?
Thanks!

ctrl-m, and then use the jog dial.
Sorry,
I should have specified that the requirement was for one of the buttons accessible while the clamshell is closed. These include:
Voice Record Button (possible long-press?)
Jog Dial (maybe a press and turn, as long-press is currently assigned to OKey - which doesn't select menus, which it should...).
Back Key

You need a 3rd party app, I can't remember the one that might work though, sorry!

KeyQuick has a little pop menu that appears when holding your choice of side button (back, jog, voice memo), and in that little menu, you can choose "Menu" which will reveal the menu and you can navigate via the jog wheel. Another choice for that little menu is "Control Tap" which allows you to navigate and tweak checkboxes, buttons, pull-downs, anything! A mandatory requirement for OS 5 clies, especially those with a keyboard or the ones that miss JogAssist.
