Sony Ericsson T300 and Clie T665C

So i've got this new T300 phone and it is slick, but i can't seem to do a few things.

1. Connect to the internet via infrared. I get a "no carrier", but the phone appears to be connecting to my isp phone number.


2. Take pictures on the T300 and beam them to my clie. I beam them over, the clie starts to recieve the jpg file, then tells me the format is unknown.


Anyone know how to overcome these obstacles?

I'm not sure about your internet problem. Di you check all the settings on the Clie Connection settings? It must match your T300's settings.

Regarding beaming images to your Clie. You can't do this because your clie will only accept .PRC or .PDB files into ram via Beam. No other file format is supported. (you need to put them on your MS by another means eg. your PC).

- been using the t68 as a modem for clie for quite some time. are you connecting to via grps? i did tried to connect using bluetooth and it works well also. settings for this is, as you may already know, telco/ISP/country specific.

- beaming/receiving jpg from nokia 3650 and other pda WILL work IF you have a acid-image (at least version 2.6a, the one with have exchange manager). Check it out at http://www.red-mercury.com/aibe.html.

there might be other application that might do the trick. but so far all i know is acid-image work :) note that this option will work only on clie devices with jpg library (your t665 has it) on palm devices, images can be viewed but cant be saved

I'm not going to connect using gprs. I just wanna do straight dialup and use my minutes and not that internet access from the phone deal. I don't want to download a mega huge page and pay out the arz for the data amount. I simply want to use my sprint isp account, not the tmobile internet option.

Guess what. I got the jpeg beaming solved!!!

Sure the acid image will let you view, but not save. What good is that?

Download and buy SPLASHPHOTO. The latest version allows me to beam my picture taken from my sony ericsson T300 camera phone to my Sony Clie T665C and SAVE IT!!! Not only that, but the desktop manager will hotsync to my pc.
