I like DateBK5 ..... I've been using it for some time.... and I seem to like it better than Agendus. I compared both of them, and based on the features, ease-of-use, and price, I found that DateBK5 suited my needs/wants better than Agendus.
I think both programs are wonderful! I will not Slam or talk Negatively about Agendus as it is a very well written application. I just have found for my needs .... that DateBK5 seems to my Date-Book of Choice.
I didn't get as 'into' Agendus as you have done. DateBK5 does support many of the features you have outlined above. I'm not aware that it will do all of the items listed above, as I've not made attempts as such.

I too, have tried to use Agendus(and will continue to try), but find there are too many little things that it can't do as well as Datebk5.
The best place to get it would be the Yahoo Group. The developer regularly posts extremely stable betas there.

You can go and check out DateBK5 at Pemlico Software (http://www.pimlicosoftware.com/datebk5.htm) .
There isn't a Desktop version of the software, to my knowledge. You can use your PDA's Desktop software or Outlook, or other software to keep your datebook in sync.
One of the best features, I like in my DateBK5 is the LINK. To many ... this may not be important... but to me it is.
Here at my workplace ... .we have multiple buildings, and probably 200 conference rooms. When we schedule meetings I put a link to my address-book and link in the Conference room. In my address book, I have the Building Location, Conference room name, floor, and phone number in the conference room. So when I have a meeting .... and don't know where the room is .... I simply click on the link .. and it gives me its exact location. I even link dates of things to individuals ... so I can easily bring up their information.
Again.... both pieces of software are great! Just depends on your own needs.
There is a large manual for DateBK5 as well ..... it does offer quite a bit. I haven't even cracked the manual as of yet. Just use what I need .... and if there is something else I want it to do ... I either figure it out or ask someone else who has it.
